The messy divorce battle between Johnny Depp and Amber Heard just got a little uglier after a video of the actor throwing things in his kitchen and ranting at his wife has emerged online.

The 53-year-old “Pirates of the Caribbean” star is currently the accused part in a domestic abuse case filed against him by his estranged wife, who seems to want to obtain a permanent restraining order against him and who claims Johnny offered her money to stay quiet about his attacks.

The video, which Amber denies having leaked online, appears to show an angry Depp swearing, shouting, banging cupboard doors, and hurling a wine glass across the kitchen. Meanwhile, Heard — who is secretly recording his rage moment on a mobile phone — appears to try to calm him down and asks him what’s wrong.

“What happened? I just woke up and you were so sweet, and nice. We were not even fighting this morning. All I did was say sorry,” she is heard saying.

However, the actor isn’t having it, replying “You want to see crazy, I’ll show you something crazy.”

According to TMZ, who were the ones publishing the clip online, the incident featured in it took place months before the May 21 conflict between the two actors in which Amber claims Johnny hit her.

The same publication says that sources close to Depp claim the footage was “heavily edited” and that the parts where the 30-year-old actress was actually smiling and encouraging him were cut out. They suggest the whole thing was just a set-up by Amber in an attempt to make him look bad.

Considering all this, it is highly unlikely that the clip can be used as proof in court, especially because the actor was apparently videotaped without his knowledge or permission.

The couple married in February 2015, and Amber Heard filed for divorce after 15 months of marriage in May this year. Shortly after filing for divorce, she appeared in court with a visible bruise on her right cheek and was granted a temporary restraining order against her partner.

Depp’s lawyer team denied all domestic violence claims and accused the actress of cooking up the abuse story to obtain spousal support.

Depp and his estranged wife will appear in court later this month in their divorce battle, and as far as Amber is concerned, sources say she is keen to settle matters as quickly as possible.
